RHS MEDAL WINNERIn 2023 we were commissioned to construct our first garden at the Chelsea Flower Show. This was our second show garden working with the talented designer Gini Denison Pender of Beautiful Wild. The Doorstep Library Garden: Words Take You Places celebrated the community focused children's literacy charity Doorstep Library. The garden highlights the importance of rainforests as well as encouraging the importance for children to read.

CHAUMONT
A SEED OF HOPE 2022In 2022 we were commissioned to install and co design our first show garden at the International Garden Festival’s 30th birthday. The festival is held within the world renowned Domaine de Chaumont sur Loire’s grounds. We were one of only 24 gardens to be installed at the festival from designers and landscapers from across the world. The garden was installed in March and was visited by over 500,000 people between May - Nov.

THE SECRET SENSORY GARDEN
AWARD WINNER 2021Our long time clients wanted a safe and stimulating garden for their two children without it looking like a childrens play area. Dru Allan’s design created the perfect blend of creativity, playfulness and sophistication and it was a pleasure to bring this project to life.

SUBURBIAN HIDEAWAY
AWARD WINNER 2020Since we were instructed by a husband and wife team of architects, there was a clear vision of what the space would be used for, and indeed what it would look like. Using a grey/blue colour scale for the floor space and clean contemporary lines on white rendered blockwork, broken up with Western Red Cedar cladding, the garden would be a family friendly environment fit to entertain, dine and relax in throughout the year.

PEACEFUL PORCELAIN

RESPECTING TRADITION
A YORKSTONE DREAMThe primary consideration for this project was to utilise materials which complimented and enhanced the traditional feel of the beautiful Georgian Property and existing garden.

SOMETHING FROM NOTHING
SEATING, SAVING,REDUCE, REUSE, RE-PURPOSE
Using only “waste” materials we set about creating a seating area which was as much about aesthetics as it was about environment.

GEORGIAN ELEGANCE
CONTEMPORARY MEETS TRADITIONWe were recently commissioned to construct a terrace that incorporated seating and planting areas. Our clients wanted a contemporary design that would complement their traditional 200-year period property, situated in the historic Hampton Court area.

LAYERS AND LEVELS
A CHALLENGEThe plot of land was also extremely challenging as it was on several levels and we were tasked with designing the new terraces, connecting pathways and balcony decking with a clever use of pathways and steps, whilst not deterring from the unique countryside views.

TWO SUMMERS
IN ASHTEADIn terms of scale, this was a huge project to undertake. The house is a 150-year property with a huge plot of land which circled the property. We divided the project into two and undertook the works over two consecutive summers, working to millimetre precision

A PERFECT CIRCLE
CREATING A FOCAL POINTThe circular patio was the focus of the garden and we also created a play area, pergolas, a tree house laid a new lawn over the drainage. Although the project was very challenging and laborious, it was hugely satisfying to create such a bespoke and unique garden.
